Kevin B. Kimble, Esq. Co-Founder and CEO

As founder of the Financial Services Innovation Coalition, a DC based financial services think tank, and with his extensive network of contacts in congress and pertinent regulatory agencies, Mr. Kimble is in a unique position to create connections between government, nonprofits and corporations and facilitate organization, funding and integration of programs dedicated to financial wellness and accessibility.

Mr. Kimble is a 25-year veteran of Capitol Hill and has held positions as chief of staff for a senior member of congress and chief lobbyist for one of the nation’s largest financial services firms. As current DC Bureau Chief for the national chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), Kevin has unparalleled access to minority communities and civic leaders around the country. He is routinely called upon and advises members of congress on policy and legislative issues and has been asked to speak to state and local government and testify at hearings.

Kevin has initiated and administered studies and programs related to solving problems experienced by those who are poorly served by the financial services industry. He acts as the board chair for the FSIC American Innovation & Opportunity fund, an organization dedicated to resolving issues of financial services inequality and whose programs encourage social and economic inclusion. Through this organization he has advised many third-party groups, nonprofits, and corporate organizations on how to initiate programs and allocate funds to helping these underserved populations. He has previously counseled and currently sits on the advisory boards of multiple financial services start up organizations and is well positioned to act as their voice in congress and with key regulatory agencies. He has access to many of congresses trusted advisors and a network of individuals in important financial services agencies in DC and around the country.

Brady J. Buckner, Co-Founder and President

Brady J. Buckner has been an officer at AIOF for over ten years.  He is dedicated to helping communities in need of career-building, home ownership, workforce, and other opportunities and currently sits on the boards of several Nonprofit organizations that seek to improve the lives of those living in poverty.

Mr. Buckner has designed and managed programs for Nonprofit organizations and for-profit companies seeking to improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals through economic empowerment.  He has created and conducted many training and educational sessions from Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, to the communities AIOF serves directly.  The topics of these sessions and programs include economic empowerment methods, career and job preparation, technology industry inclusion (including artificial intelligence and the metaverse), health care inclusion, financial services and financial literacy, and others.

He is a seasoned financial services and professional business development expert, having worked in the brokerage and banking industry for several decades.  Brady has acted as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Alliance Capital, an Investment Analyst with the Consulting Group at Smith Barney, an Account Executive with CIBC Oppenheimer, a Senior Financial Sales Consultant with PNC Bank, and an RIA Administrator with Pacific West Financial.

Brady has dedicated his career to helping disadvantaged individuals and communities thrive and knows the fight will last for decades, not years.  He believes strongly in this mission and hopes to have a significant role in solving some of the most severe economic empowerment and social justice issues facing our country today. 

Denise Rosemond, Director of Diversity Initiatives

Denise spent over 14 years with ExxonMobil as Strategic Diversity Advisor and as a consultant, 11 years as a Mortgage Banker and Diversity Management. A creative and talented professional with over 15 years of expertise with Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies, and Banking.

In her role as Strategic Diversity Advisor, she designed and developed the company’s first Diversity & Customer Service Book, which improved productivity. She’s a collaborator that engages clients to build bridges and align their values based on strength. Denise is solution-oriented with an eye toward bottom-line results. A trained coach that helps executives achieve the outcomes they desire.

A leader in the area of Diversity & Inclusion with the power to make transformational and impactful change. Denise is fluent in French and Spanish and a certified trainer and curriculum developer. She is a graduate of the University of Houston and holds, a Master of Science, from Amber University, Texas with a specialty in Diversity & Communication.

David Rixter, Special Economic Advisor

President and CEO of HCR Consulting L.L.C., focuses his efforts to impact marginalized communities and prepare them for the 4th Industrial Revolution. Prior to creating HCR Consulting, David managed a national portfolio of grantees for the U.S. Department of Treasury’s State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI). In his role at Treasury, David led outreach and strategic planning efforts, fostered relationships with state and federal officials, and provided technical assistance to over a third of the country.

With a deep passion for enhancing the entrepreneurial ecosystem, focusing on minority-owned, women-owned, rural and small businesses and connecting people, some of David’s key successes include developing the first-ever Treasury-supported Inclusive Entrepreneurship coverings and peer-to-peer strategy sessions for states to collaborate on successful deployment of federal funds and leading inter-agency discussions to support the efforts.

David has over 15 years of experience in community development, having worked with state, quasi-governmental and the federal government to grow the nation’s economy. He led a team for Treasury’s Small Business Lending Fund (SBLF) which created the methodology for evaluating financial institutions and at Fannie Mae that implemented pricing for Home Affordable Refinance and Jumbo Conforming loans. David lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and two young sons.

Kia L. Jackson, Director of Emerging Sector Initiatives

Kia L. Jackson is an educator first, a leader, a visionary, an entrepreneur, and a curator of quality experiences. As the CEO of W.O.M.M.A.N LLC., Kia L. Jackson, coordinates, manages, and leads an enterprise of ventures that work together for a common purpose of effective change. Her current mission is all about decriminalization of Cannabis through education. She seeks to change minds in order to change a culture about cannabis use through targeted educational experiences that break stigmas and defy stereotypes.

Between 2016 and 2017 Kia L. Jackson curated and produced over twenty-eight events promoting legal cannabis consumption as a biological and human right. In 2018, Ms. Jackson produced the first cannabis focused event “The Black Experience in Cannabis” for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s 48th Annual Legislative Conference with the purpose of impacting and educating federal and local legislators with a national and international panel of industry experts. Through these targeted efforts she has impacted thousands of people and built strong alliances with global industry experts, key stakeholders, other pioneers, leaders, and organizers that share the vision of changing minds about cannabis. Ms. Jackson is an active member of the national organizations, Women Grow, Minority Cannabis Business Association, and the National Cannabis Industry Association.

William Baker, Community Outreach Specialist

Mr. Baker is a dynamic business professional with more than twenty years in senior executive level management. His senior executive level management experience includes Vice President of Business Development for Vaughn and Melton Consulting Engineers, Inc., Officer of Plan Review with the City of Atlanta, Vice President of Planning with Loyalty Management Services, Inc., and Manager of the Atlanta Housing Authority. More importantly, he is committed to helping underrepresented and underserved youth become successful. In February 2016, Mr. Baker was awarded the Torch Bearer award from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University in recognition of his continuous effort to provide opportunities for students and alumni in the planning profession. Mr. Baker has made numerous presentations for professional groups, most recently on the educational and economic value of GAPE, Inc. He also rewrote the Prisons Reform Laws in Alabama in 1998 and later form a company that assisted offenders to become successful citizens. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Political Science from Stillman College and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Leroy Jones, Jr., Director of Communication and Media Inclusion Initiatives

Mr. Leroy Jones, Jr. is the President of High Point Analytics & Consulting Group (HPACG). HPACG is an advisory group focused on helping clients better understand and manage risk. HPACG advises decision makers with both for-profit and non-profit businesses, community organizations, and educational organizations.

Mr. Jones has over 25 years of experience in Washington, D.C. working as an entrepreneur and as a legislative aide. He has worked in both the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives giving him the unique experience of working on both sides of Capitol Hill. Shortly after leaving the “Hill”, he accepted a political appointment to work at the White House for President William J. Clinton.

Born and raised in North Carolina, he is a graduate of North Carolina Central University, and Howard University School of Law. He is serves as the Co-Chair of the “Leading Ladies of Richmond Virginia” Advisory Committee. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the proud father of two children—a son and a daughter.

Rosemary Morgan, Special Advisor

Rosemary provides proposal management and technical writing support to various Federal government contractors. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) she has experience responding to solicitations for multiple agencies to include CBP, DHS, DOL, DOD, DOI, DOJ, DOS, DHHS, NASA, NGA, USDA, VA, and a host of others.

As a former Vice President of Hammerman and Gainer, she was recognized for developing lasting relationships with large corporations as well as engaging white house official in the Naval acquisition process improvement initiative.

Specialties: Proposal management, proposal writing, proposal editing, technical writing, business development, capture management, and proposal education and training.
